The authors found that the more patients drink tea, the lower the risk of death within 4 years after having heart attack is: the risk of death reduces 28% in the group of patients drinking tea with medium amount and 44% in the group of patients drinking more tea. New researches show that the people drinking tea will be easier to survive after a heart attack than others without drinking tea. Drinking 19 cups of tea per week will reduce 44% risk of death. This effect is due to the antioxidants in tea.
